$14,000 in Equipment Awarded to 17 Programs for 2011 grant recipients
The Washington State Chapterof US Lacrosse is proud to award equipment grants to 17 developing programs throughout our state. During early March, approximately $14,000 worth of equipment was distributed. The majority of gear is donated to our Chapter through sponsorship of the State HS Lacrosse Championships held during May each year. The Chapter purchases the rest of the necessary equipment.
The breakdown of programs awarded grants:
  • 17 total programs
  • 9 girls
  • 8 boys
  • 10 youth programs
  • 7 high school programs
