Your Washington Stealth are hosting a Concussion Symposium for our lacrosse community that is being hosted by Seattle Children’s Hospital. It is free and with the increased discussion of concussions, a great chance for coaches and concerned parents to get the latest in best practices. The “symposium” will be presented in layman’s language with practical discussion focused on kids playing sports.

• Time: 5:45pm - 8:30pm
• Location: Seattle Children’s Wright Auditorium – directions
• Audience: Parents and Coaches of lacrosse players
• Topic: Concussions – including what they are, why it is important to know about them, how to recognize and manage them and how to safely return to play with an emphasis on lacrosse. 
• Cost: Free

We will also have a panel to discuss interesting cases/situations and answer audience questions.  Light appetizers and refreshments will be served.
